This sculpture was completed with the help of about fifty people. It weighed six thousand pounds and fortunately the process went pretty smoothly. Through inversion this rather dark hulking mass became a vehicle of light. During the process, one of participants turned to the other and said “You know, this is how they used to move ships before they discovered water.”
